Fire Protection

Wet-valves, dry-valves, pre-action & detection systems, foam systems… it may all seem a little overwhelming.

Let our partners be your expert on servicing your water based fire protection systems. We can document what you have, what the service requirements are, and the best ways to insure that your water based system(s) continue to function properly for years to come.

Service is our focus

Sprinkler system inspection and service is one of our specialties. Customers rely on Dantech and our partners for periodic inspection and service of critical fire protection equipment. Many Sprinkler installation firms do inspections in between installation jobs or when new installation work slows down. We find in many cases this practice frequently results in “overdue inspections” which can cause serious liability concerns. With Dantech, inspection, service, and repairs are our mainstay. They always come first.

Interconnected Systems
In addition to wet and dry sprinkler systems, Dantech has extensive expertise with pre-action, deluge, and foam sprinkler systems. We can test your entire “system” instead of only the sprinkler components. Where these systems interconnect are some of the most critical components of the system and are often not tested properly, or sometimes not tested at all.

Portable, wheeled and fixed unit fire extinguishers are an invaluable tool if they are readily available and properly functioning in the event of fire emergencies. Fire extinguishers are designed for specific use and should be matched to the Class of Fire it was designed to fight, such as Class A, B, C, D or Class K, and installing them near their specific designated fire hazards in vehicles, buildings, facilities or structures as described by Insurance Company, OSHA, Federal or Government Agency and Fire & Safety Codes in Maryland.

Annual inspections are generally completed to ensure the portable fire extinguisher is operational, these inspections and tests should be completed by qualified, authorized, certified and actively licensed fire extinguisher companies in Maryland.

Upon a successful completion of the annual portable fire extinguisher inspection, the fire extinguisher company may issue a new annual certification tag which is hung around the portable fire extinguisher for fire code compliance

Fire extinguisher annual certification & inspection tag service should be performed by qualified, factory trained personnel actively licensed and certified fire extinguisher companies only.
